PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel composition, liquefied with vaporization of a component when being left as it is in an open system, and to provide an aromatic and a deodorant, decreased in quantity of residue remaining after the aromatic or the deodorant is used, and restraining lowering of aromatic/deodorizing effect due to vaporization of component. SOLUTION: This gel composition contains: (a) a gelatinizer selected from a mixture of alkanoic acid and fatty acid aluminum, and alkanoic acid; (b) a liquefaction agent selected from glycols and glycolic ethers; and (c) a dispersing solvent selected from hydrocarbon-based solvents, wherein the gel composition is liquefied when it is left as it is.
