PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of suppressing deterioration in a charge conversion layer by reducing a pressure applied to the charge conversion layer from the surrounding. SOLUTION: A connection portion between a cover glass 440 and a protective member 442 is disposed outside a photoconductive layer 404. Thus, a stress generated in the connection portion between the cover glass 440 and the protective member 442 can be prevented from transmitting to the photoconductive layer 404 via a curable resin 444. In this way, the pressure imposed on the photoconductive layer 404 can be reduced to suppress the deterioration in the photoconductive layer 404. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
