PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warming-up device of a simple structure for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This device is adopted to a water cooled internal combustion engine 10 storing cooling water of which temperature is raised by engine operation in a heat accumulation tank 32, and supplying cooling water in the heat accumulation tank 32 into water jacket 21 during engine start. A communication path 31 establishing communication between the water jacket 21 and a section at a suction port side of the pump 25 in a circulation passage 24 is provided. The heat accumulation tank 32 and a selector valve 33 are provided in the communication path 31. Cooling water flow-in to the heat accumulation tank 32 from the water jacket 21 and cooling water flow-out to the water jacket 21 from the heat accumulation tank 32 through operation of the selector valve 33, are permitted when cooling water temperature THWE is not higher than predetermined temperature T1 and when the same is not lower than predetermined temperature T2, and are prohibited cooling water temperature THWE is higher than the predetermined temperature T1 and lower than the predetermined temperature T2 (here T2>T1).
