PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on a user, when using a plurality of projectors to simultaneously project a plurality of related images. SOLUTION: One of four projectors 100 operates as the master unit, and the other projectors 100 operated as slaves units. The master projector 100 reads in a file group from a USB memory 101 and extracts an image data file for a main image. The master projector 100 has a slave list wherein identification information of projectors 100 operated as slaves is described. The master projector 100 generates link lists, including image data files for auxiliary images relevant to the main image, per slave projector 100, in accordance with the slave list and transmits the link lists to respective projectors 100.
