PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a user when adjusting a projection position of a projector relatively to that of another projectors. SOLUTION: In a step 351, a microcomputer 31 determines whether posture information detected by a posture detection part 60 has been changed or not. Only when the posture information is determined to have been changed in the step 351, the microcomputer 31 transmits posture information to another projectors in a step 353. In a next step 355, the microcomputer 31 determines whether posture information has been received from another projectors through a USB interface 35 or not. On reception of posture information from another projector, the microcomputer 31 calculates a correction value of a posture of the projector on the basis of posture information received from another projectors PJ2 and PJ3 and posture information at the present time, in a step 357.
