摘要 An image distributing apparatus using a PLC is provided to perform an image distribution operation without applying electricity through an optical divider such as a PLC splitter, thereby enabling the integration of the product and reducing power consumption. An image distributing apparatus(200) using a PLC(Planer Lightwave Circuit) includes a signal converter(210), a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) unit(220), and an optical divider(230). The signal converter converts an input image signal into an optical signal and outputs the optical signal. The WDM unit receives the optical signal from the signal converter, converts an inputted optical signal wavelength into an optical signal wavelength in a WDM method, and outputs the converted optical signal. The optical divider forms one input optical waveguide and N output optical waveguides, receives the optical signal outputted from the WDM unit, and diverges and outputs the inputted optical signal along the N output optical waveguides. The WDM unit and the optical divider are integrally formed on the PLC to convert the image signal into the optical signal and distribute the image signal.
