<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability by using coil springs as elastic members pressing rollers, and to stabilize the attitude of the coil springs in a roller one-way clutch. <P>SOLUTION: The outer periphery of an inner ring 2 assembled inside an outer ring 1 is formed in a cylindrical surface 3, and cam surfaces 4 forming wedge spaces are formed between itself and the cylindrical surface 3 are formed in the inner periphery of the outer ring 1. Pockets 6 are formed in a cage 5 assembled between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2 at the positions opposed to the cam surfaces 4. The rollers 8 and the coil springs biasing the rollers 8 toward the narrow parts of the wedge spaces are assembled in the pockets 6. A spiral roller contact part facing radial outward is formed at one end of the coil spring 9 opposed to the roller 8. Since one end of the coil spring 9 is prevented from peripherally escaping along the outer peripheral cylindrical surface of the roller 8, the attitude of the coil spring 9 is stabilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
