PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power supply without using a switch having a special structure or the like in a power supply controller for controlling a standby power supply circuit. SOLUTION: The power supply controller for controlling the standby power supply circuit and a main power supply circuit comprises: a power switch 2 for supplying commercial power to the standby power supply circuit while it is turned ON; a control part 6 operated by a standby power supply voltage Vcc generated in the standby power supply circuit 5; a first relay part 3 for supplying the commercial power to the standby power supply circuit 5 in an ON state and interrupting the supply of the commercial power to the standby power supply circuit in an OFF state; a cancellation part 4 for turning the first relay part 3 to the ON or OFF state; and a second relay part 7 for supplying the commercial power to the main power supply circuit 8 or interrupting it. The cancellation part 4 turns the first relay part 3 to the ON state when the power switch 2 is turned ON and the standby power supply voltage Vcc is received and turns the first relay part 3 to the OFF state by OFF control from the control part 6 when the first relay part 3 is in the ON state.
