PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system having an excellent characteristic and a new shape. SOLUTION: The speaker system is comprised by storing a speaker unit in a cabinet. A baffle surface 101a of the cabinet is a curved surface which projects outside at a predetermined curvature. Further, a diaphragm 120 included in the speaker unit has a shape which projects outside at the substantially same curvature as that of the baffle surface 101a. The diaphragm 120 is exposed from the baffle surface 101a so as to be arranged in a curved surface shape at a substantially continuous curvature. Accordingly, both of the baffle surface and the diaphragm of the speaker system have the curved surface shapes at the substantially same curvatures. Thus, sound by oscillation of the diaphragm can be efficiently output, and a frequency characteristic can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
