PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus which can move a content key required for decrypting such a copy-forbidden content surely and safety between HDDs. SOLUTION: A shared key generating section 20 generates a key shared between the key generating section 20 and a receiving apparatus. A decryption section 12 decrypts an encryption/key file read out from a source HDD 3 by using a device key and dynamic information. The dynamic information is updated. A key file update section 16 takes out an object content key, i.e., a content key corresponding to an encryption/content becoming a movement object, from a key file and removes the object content key from the key file. An encryption section 17 encrypts the update key file by using a device key and update dynamic information, and an encryption section 18 encrypts the object content key by using the shared key.
