PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge tube array in which a reactive power is hard to occur. SOLUTION: The discharged tube array A1 is equipped with a plurality of discharge tubes 10 that have a phosphor layer in the interior and that are extended along a prescribed longitudinal direction and co-located along a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, a plurality of electrodes 40 arranged on the rear face side of respective discharge tubes 10 along the longitudinal direction of the discharge tubes 10, and a substrate 20 to hold a plurality of electrodes 40.
