PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an specimen pretreatment liquid for immunoassay, a reagent kit for the immunoassay, and an immunoassay method, capable of effectively restraining, in particular, a nonspecific reaction resulting from a component (lipid, or the like) other than a protein in a specimen, from among the nonspecific reactions in the immunoassay. SOLUTION: This specimen pretreatment liquid for the immunoassay contains disaccharides, the reagent kit for the immunoassay includes the specimen pretreatment liquid, and the immunoassay method is carried out in the presence of the disaccharide.
