PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the situation where an incomings and outgoings of a vehicle becomes impossible when the movement of a pallet stagnates, when the vehicle is erroneously parked on a carriageway surface. SOLUTION: This mechanism parking device is provided in the form of arranging units in front and in rear in double rows by arranging a division equivalent to one vehicle in a plurality of stages in the vertical direction and in a plurality of rows in the horizontal direction. When the vehicle road surface is formed in a getting-in stage of the vehicle of a front row unit (S101), the existence of the vehicle on the carriageway surface is detected by a sensor related to the division of forming the carriageway surface (S102-S103). A correction of an incoming position of the vehicle erroneously parked on the carriageway surface is urged (S104-S107) by giving a warning to an operator, without performing closing operation of a gate, even if a closing operation signal of the gate is received, when the vehicle is detected.
