PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent which is a composition for environmental cleaning which adsorbs/insolubilizes noxious ions in a solution or a solid, in more definite terms, adsorbs a fluoride ion, a boron iron, a phosphate ion, etc., especially an adsorbent which can efficiently absorb/insolubilize these ions even in case the density is low and for a long time. SOLUTION: This adsorbent adsorbs/insolubilizes the fluoride ion, boron ion and phosphate ion in a solution or a solid, and is composed of a composite oxide particle powder containing a calcium ion, an aluminum ion and an iron ion.
