It is intended to provide a system for maintaining sterile environment by which a sterile room can be sterilized within a shorter period of time than by the existing systems. A system for maintaining sterile environment comprising a sterile room (10) having an air inlet port (11) and an air outlet port (12), an HEPA filter (3) which is located so as to cover the air inlet port (11) or the air inlet port (11) and the air outlet port (12) of the sterile room (10), and a sterilizing agent-supply unit for supplying a sterilizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide into the sterile room (10), wherein the sterile room (10) is provided with a detoxifying agent-supply unit from which a detoxifying agent such as ozone is sprayed toward the HEPA filter (3).
