The present invention relates to a process of cleaning a hard surface, said process comprising the step of applying a liquid hard surface cleaner composition onto said hard surface in the form of a spray, wherein said composition comprises a hydrophobically modified nonionic polyol. The use of the hydrophobically modified nonionic polyol in a liquid hard surface cleaner composition to provide a clinging foam on said hard surface is also claimed.
