<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater having high usablility by preventing a shortage of hot water, by enhancing efficiency of an apparatus by reducing a heat radiation loss from a hot water storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type water heater has a heating means 1 heating water, the hot water storage tank 2 storing the hot water heated by the heating means 1, a mixing valve 3 mixing the hot water of the hot water storage tank with supply water, a hot water supply pipe 6 supplying the hot water mixed by the mixing valve 3 to a hot water supply terminal 16, covering bodies 10a, 10b and 10c surrounding the hot water storage tank 2, the mixing valve 3 and the hot water supply pipe 6, and heat insulating materials 11a and 11b for covering, and is characterized by arranging the heat insulating materials 11a and 11b for covering in a top surface part 10a of the covering bodies 10a, 10b and 10c and at least an upper part of a side surface part 10b. Since heat capacity of the hot water storage tank 2 is held, usability is enhanced by preventing a shortage of the hot water, and electric power consumption required for heating the water is reduced, and efficiency of the apparatus can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
