<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid food obtained by binding food raw material via a binder, having favorable palate feeling when starting to chew, suppressed in getting hard due to deterioration with age, and to provide a method for producing the solid food requiring no temperature control in its production process. <P>SOLUTION: The solid food is produced by binding food raw material via a binder and using collagen peptide so as to have no requirement of temperature control in its production process, and have favorable palate feeling when starting to chew.
