<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser treatment apparatus for ophthalmology capable of radiating therapeutic laser light of a beam characteristic suited to treatment onto an affected part and varying magnification of a spot size with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a laser treatment apparatus for ophthalmology provided with a laser light source for emitting the laser light for treating the affected part of a patient eye and a delivery optical system for radiating the laser light emitted by the laser light source to the affected part of the patient eye, the delivery optical system is provided with: a plurality of diffraction optical elements for equalizing a laser light beam profile on an emission end surface of the laser light source on the affected part or forming it into a beam profile whose central intensity is lower than its periphery, and forming the beam profile into a different spot size on the affected part of the patient eye; and a switch means for selectively switch-placing the plurality of diffraction optical elements onto an optical path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
