PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control system capable of precisely specifying the position of a terminal. SOLUTION: In a terminal 2 carried by a user, a terminal control part 23 acquires the illuminance measurement result of an illuminance sensor 20, and transmits information on the present illuminance measurement result and a target illuminance value by an infrared signal by controlling an infrared transmitting part 21. Each receiving apparatus 3 transmits a received signal to a lighting control device 4 by control of a receiving apparatus control part 32, when a light receiving sensor 30 receives the infrared signal from the terminal 2. If the lighting control device 4 receives the received signal from each receiving apparatus 3, a position specifying part 42 specifies the position of the terminal 2 from information about the position of each receiving apparatus 3 and the magnitude of the infrared signal, and a light control part 43 computes a modulated light control parameter from information about the position of the terminal 2, the illuminance measurement result, and the target illuminance value. If the lighting device 1 receives a light control signal containing the light control parameter from the lighting control device 4, a load control part 12 dimly controls a lighting load 10 based on the content of the light control signal.
