PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality measuring method by which a specific factor capable of exhibiting powder characteristics of electrophotographic ferrite carrier core material can be obtained more reliably. SOLUTION: The quality measuring method of electrophotographic ferrite carrier core material includes: a step of performing an impedance measurement by using an AC resistance measuring method to obtain a Nyquist diagram by arranging real number impedance Z' on X-axis and imaginary number impedance Z'' on Y-axis; and a step of performing quality evaluation of the electrophotographic ferrite carrier core material by using the Nyquist diagram, wherein a prescribed equivalent circuit is used and the quality of the electrophotographic ferrite carrier core material is decided by using the following respective AC resistance values (including a constant) obtained upon the impedance measurement: ¾Rs¾, Rp<SB>1</SB>, CPE-T<SB>1</SB>, CPE-P<SB>1</SB>, Rp<SB>2</SB>, CPE-T<SB>2</SB>, CPE-P<SB>2</SB>.
