PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver that prevents the occurrence of useless access, where, for example, a user accesses an application site without knowing the expiration of the term of validity, and a useless communication charge following the useless access in data broadcast accompanying constrains, such as expiration dates of applications of presents, when reproducing recorded data broadcast. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver 100 has: a storage means 200 for storing at least one digital broadcasting program with constrains on a term relating to the digital broadcasting program; a display means DIS for reproducing the digital broadcasting program for display; an input means KEY for receiving selection by the user for instructing a connection request to a communication line; a connection request generation means 190 for generating a connection request to the communication line; and a control means 160 for controlling the connection request generation means so that the connection request to the communication line based on the received selection becomes invalid, based on the constrains stored in the storage means 200 with the digital broadcasting program when the digital broadcasting program stored in the storage means 200 is reproduced.
