PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device in which operation when a recording medium is housed can be reduced even if an information processing device in which an insertion opening is closed always during standby. SOLUTION: A CD changer 1 as an information processing device includes a disk transporting part 4 loading and unloading a CD2 into an from an equipment body 3, an opening and closing part 17 opening and closing an insertion opening 31 in which the CD2 is passed through is opened and closed when the CD2 is loaded and unloaded, while the insertion opening 31 is opened only when the disk transporting part 4 loads and unloads the CD2.
