PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating compressor capable of inhibiting break of a lip ring in an early stage and extending maintenance cycle thereof. SOLUTION: The lip ring 30 sealing a part between a cylinder and a piston which reciprocates with oscillating in the cylinder is composed of a flat plate annular attachment part 31 positioned at an inner circumference side and fixed on the piston, and an annular lip part 32 projecting radial direction outward from the annular attachment part 31 and extending while bending along an inner circumference surface of the cylinder.
