PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas booster capable of extending maintenance cycle by extending a lifetime of a bearing of a gas compressor. SOLUTION: This booster is provided with an air compressor 2, an air tank 3 storing compressed air, a gas separating means 5 separating one gas in compressed air as product gas, a gas compressor 7 boosting the product gas, and a reservoir tank 8 storing the boosted product gas. An inside space of a crank case 21 connected to a cylinder 11 of the gas compressor 7 and retaining a crank mechanism can be purged by compressed air from the air tank 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
