PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door having panels, which are not brought into direct contact mutually but slid mutually to be opened, when the panels arranged flush in closing time are opened. SOLUTION: In the sliding door 3 having side panels 4, 5, and a center panel 6, for each of which at least one panel is installed, the front faces of them are arranged flush, and at least two or more linear fixed rails 23 and 24 are arranged in parallel to each other. The side panels 4 and 5 are supported movably in the left and right directions by one of fixed rails 23 and 24. The center panel 6 is supported movably in the left and right directions by the other of the fixed rails 23 and 24 via a U-shaped frame 31 and a guide frame 36. The sliding door is provided with interlocking devices 28 and 28' moving the center panel 6 back and forth in synchronous with opening operation of the sliding door 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
