PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking rod of a crossing gate, which has suitable flexibility and rigidity imparted thereto, and exerts adequate safety. SOLUTION: A core 5 housed in the elastic material 6 while protruding its proximal end from the elastic material is formed of a resin member having a pipe core body 8 having a hollow part 7 extending therethrough in the longitudinal direction and a plate reinforcement rib 9 integrally formed in the hollow part 7 of the core body 8 and extending in the longitudinal direction.
