ADHESIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, AND LAMINATE USING THE SAME

[PROBLEMS] To provide: an adhesive resin which has a satisfactory level of adhesion to a polar resin in both of a use application at ambient temperature and a use application for boiling or retort treatment; a resin composition comprising the adhesive resin; and a polyolefin/(polar resin) laminate having the resin composition as an intermediate layer. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is an adhesive resin composition (A) which is adhesive to a polar resin. The adhesive resin composition (A) is produced by mixing a resin comprising a component (a1) with a component (a2), or by grafting the component (a2) on the component (a1), whereinthe component (a1) is a carboxylic acid anhydride or a derivative thereof, and the component (a2) is a ring-opening polymer or a condensation polymer having a hydroxy group or an amino group at both ends or one end, and wherein the component (a1) has an acid value of 0.1 to 50 mgKOH/g as measured by using a potassium hydroxide/ethanol solution, and the component (a2) meets the requirement represented by the formula: y/(x+y)×100 = 10 or more [wherein x represents the sum total of the heights of peaks (1713 cm^-1, 1780 cm^-1) derived from an acid anhydride group, and y represents the height of a peak (1740 cm^-1) derived from an ester group, which are produced by melt-kneading the component (a2) at 220°C for 5 minutes, cooling the product to room temperature, and then subjecting the resulting cooled product to infrared (IR) absorption spectrometry.
