An adaptive crosstalk cancellation method for 3D audio signals is provided to increase a noise cancellation speed by utilizing plural complementary adaptive signal processing algorithms. A desired signal is inputted to an adaptive filter as an input to generate a 3D sound. The input signal is processed according to an adaptive signal processing algorithm. Plural adaptive signal processing algorithms, which are complementary to each other in convergence speeds and convergence performances, are utilized together in the adaptive filter. During an initial signal processing stage, the adaptive signal processing algorithm with a high convergence speed is used for the adaptive filter. During a latter signal processing stage, the adaptive signal processing algorithm with a low convergence speed is used for the adaptive filter. The adaptive signal processing algorithm includes a CM(Constant Modulus) algorithm and an LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm. |
