PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF FLUORINATED COMPOUNDS

<p>A process for the manufacture of a fluorinated organic compound of formula R-F wherein R is an organic residue, which comprises reacting a starting material of general formula R-X wherein X is a leaving group with SO<SUB>2</SUB>F<SUB>2</SUB>. Addition of an amine/hydrofluoride complex enhances the reaction speed.</p>
