<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative braking device for vehicle wherein regeneration efficiency can be enhanced, especially at low-speed running. <P>SOLUTION: The regenerative braking device includes a first motor M1 and a second motor M2; a first speed reducer 3, connected to the first motor M1 by a first shaft 1; an axle 7 connected to the first speed reducer 3 by a second shaft 2; a second speed reducer 4; switching means (clutches CL1, CL2), capable of switching between a "first state" in which the second motor M2 and the second shaft 2 are connected together. and a "second state" in which the second motor M2 and the first shaft 1 are connected together via the second speed reducer 4; and a hybrid controller 10. The hybrid controller carries out regenerative braking by switching the state into a "first state", when the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined value and switches the state to a "second state", when the vehicle speed is equal to or smaller than the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
