<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and image processing apparatus for reducing an irregular pattern from being generated in a monochrome image formed by a monochrome image printing device. <P>SOLUTION: Luminance image data for one block are converted into binary image data using pale part complementary printing dither data 142 and transmitted to a monochrome printer 50 by image data transmission processing. For each of sub pale part complementary printing dither data A-D constituting the pale part complementary printing dither data 142, the arrangement of thresholds is the same until each of the thresholds becomes a predetermined value. Furthermore, the thresholds disposed in the same way are different from each other. Thus, the binary image data has a pattern constituted of dots changing regularly by dot.
