<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali protease for detergents having reaction efficiency (high specific activity) and strong resistance to oxidizing agents. <P>SOLUTION: In an alkali protease, derived from a gene of Bacillus subtilis and produced from strain of the genus Bacillus, amino acid residues in specific positions of an amino acid sequence are lost or replaced by specific amino acid residues, a gene encodes the alkali protease, a recombinant vector contains the gene and a transformant in which the vector is introduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
