<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle in which control relating to power supply becomes appropriately performable. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device for the vehicle has electric loads mounted on the vehicle, an alternator 60 for supplying power to the electric loads, and a power supply line 70 in order to supply power to the electric loads from the alternator 60. In the power supply device, a function generator 40 for sending out predetermined frequencies onto the power supply line 70 and detecting signal waves generated on the power supply line 70 by the sending out of the frequencies, and power supply management ECU50 which determines whether or not the load which is out of reference and not assumed the electric load supplied via the power supply line 70 is mounted on the vehicle by comparing states of signal waves detected by the function generator 40 with predetermined reference states to be detected by the function generator 40 as the states of the signal waves, and based on the comparison results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
