PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult to recognize an image of an undesirable area to be viewed in a projection image. SOLUTION: A digital camera with a projector function includes a photography unit 10 which picks up a subject image formed by a photography optical system 100 by an image sensor 101, a projection unit 20 which projects an image for projection based upon image data, an input device 95 for specifying an arbitrary area of the image projected by the projection unit 20 and inputting the specified area, an image processing means 60 of performing image processing on the specified area of the projected image or an area other than the specified area of the projected image such that it becomes difficult to recognize an image thereof, and a projection control means 92 of projecting the processed image for projection by the projection unit 20 after the image processing by the image processing means 60.
