PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral amino acid composition which maintains and improves the nutriture of chronic renal failure patients having hemocatharsis treatments such as hemodialysis, hemofiltration and hemodialysis filtration. SOLUTION: The oral amino acid composition comprises specific amino acids in a specific ratio, concretely 90-130 pts.wt. of L-glutamine, 60-100 pts.wt. of L-leucine, 50-90 pts.wt. of isoleucine, 40-80 pts.wt. of L-valine, 30-70 pts.wt. of L-arginine, 20-60 pts.wt. of L-threonine, 15-40 pts.wt. of L-lysine, 10-40 pts.wt. of L-phenylalanine, 5-30 pts.wt. of L-histidine, 2-20 pts.wt. of L-tryptophane and 2-20 pts.wt. of L-methionine.
