PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plating material having a plating layer comprising Sn or a Sn alloy formed on the surface and having reduced friction resistance, excellent contact reliability under a high temperature environment, excellent adhesiveness, bending workability, conductivity and thermal peeling resistance and suitable as a material for a terminal, a connector or the like. SOLUTION: The metal plating material is characterized in that the surface plated layer 2 comprising Sn or the Sn alloy is formed on the surface of a conductive base material 1 and the lubricative particle 4 is contained at least in the surface layer part of the surface plating layer.
