PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pharmacological application of proteoglycan contained in salmon cartilage. SOLUTION: This cell proliferation-accelerating agent and hyaluronic acid synthesis-accelerating agent is provided by using the proteoglycan contained in the salmon cartilage as an active ingredient.
