PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device installed mainly near a steering wheel of an automobile and used for operation of a vehicle and an equipment, which can be operated certainly with a simple structure and can be installed easily on the vehicle. SOLUTION: A magnet 28 is installed on the upper end of a lever 22 of a lever switch 29 which is installed overlapped on a push switch 19 near a steering wheel 3 and a detection means 15 which detects magnetism of this magnet 28 is formed on the push switch 19. Thereby, the lever switch 29 can be made a simple structure capable of sure operation, and a switch device can be obtained in which installation on the vehicle can be made easily with a simple structure as a lead wire 16 and a connector 17 to connect to an electronic circuit of the vehicle can be performed by only one piece.
