PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle of high reliability and convenience. SOLUTION: The vehicle 10 includes a button switch 42a and a remote controller 100 for setting an automatic or manual driving mode; a microcomputer 78 outputting a mask control signal corresponding to the driving mode; a command control unit 64 inputting a command to the microcomputer 78 to output the mask control signal corresponding to the driving mode; a forward obstacle sensor 58a and a rearward obstacle sensor 58b detecting an obstacle and outputting a detection signal; and a first logic circuit 66 generating an emergency stop control signal that indicates a need or no need for an emergency stop of the vehicle 10 based on the mask control signal from the microcomputer 78 and the detection signals from the obstacle sensors 58a, 58b.
