PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray curable composition for an optical material which has high-speed curability, obtains a cured product having a high refractive index, and has excellent adhesive property particularly to a cycloolefin polymer film. SOLUTION: The active energy ray curable composition for an optical material includes: (A) a urethane (meth)acrylate having a weight average molecular weight of 2,000-10,000 which is a reaction product of a polyether diol, a polyisocyanate having no aromatic group and a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate; (B) a thiobisphenol-based di(meth)acrylate of a specific structure; (C) a compound having two phenyl skeletons and one (meth)acryloyl group; and (D) a compound having one methacryloyl group.
