PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water pump control device for an automobile reducing power consumption of an electric water pump for flowing cooling water to a cooling water circuit for air conditioning, and to provide an air conditioning system for an automobile having the control device, in an automobile performing an idling stop control. SOLUTION: With respect to a system in which the electric water pump 4 is disposed to the cooling water circuit B for air conditioning, when an engine E is stopped by the idling stop control, the electric water pump 4 is started to flow the cooling water to the cooling water circuit B for air conditioning so as to secure air conditioning performance. At this time, a temperature of the cooling water flowing in the cooling water circuit B for air conditioning is detected, and the drive of the electric water pump 4 is controlled so that a flow rate of the cooling water flowing in the cooling water circuit B for air conditioning becomes lower as the temperature of the cooking water gets higher.
