PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enhanced in the joint strength of an inner liner layer in the pneumatic tire in which the inner liner layer composed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer is provided. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, the inner liner layer 7 composed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer comprising a thermoplastic resin and an elastomer is formed on a tire inner surface. A large number of anchor elements 8 are projectingly provided on the surface of the inner liner layer 7, and the inner liner layer 7 is stuck so as to bury the anchor elements 8 in the tire surfaces.
