PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder capable of improving operability by accurately determining the intension of a user to use the cup holder. SOLUTION: The cup holder 10 is provided with support parts 20 for supporting cups; supports 30 capable of regulating and allowing displacement of the cups supported by the support parts 20; proximity sensors 40 capable of detecting a distance from an occupant's hand and the speed with respect to the support parts 20; and a holder control part 80 for controlling the condition of the supports 30 based on transition of the distance from the occupant's hand and the speed detected by the proximity sensors 40.
