PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an inorganic plate capable of dispensing with a pressing machine extremely enhanced in capacity in order to perform press molding by ensuring the lowest surface pressure for ensuring interlaminar adhesion strength or freeze damage resistance. SOLUTION: A surface layer material 6 based on cement is scattered over the surface of an uncured cement substrate 1 to form a surface layer 14. Thereafter, a pressing mold 15 having an uneven pattern is pressed to the surface layer 14 of the uncured cement substrate 1 to press-mold the surface layer 14. In this manufacturing method of the inorganic plate, press molding is performed so that the difference between the compression ratio of the uncured cement substrate 1 at the part of pattern protruded parts 18 and that at the part of pattern recessed parts 17 is set to 20% or below.
