PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food slicer correcting curving distortion in a portion to be cut of foods to be cut, which is easily caused in a cutting operation. SOLUTION: This food slicer comprises: a cutting part with a rotary cutting blade; a food loading part for loading a food to be cut; and a cutting thickness adjusting part having a cutting thickness adjusting plate and adjusting thickness of a cutting piece to be cut from the cut food. A cut part supporting part of the cut food having a support member supporting the cut portion of the cut food from below is provided on the front side at a tip of the food loading part located in a stand-by position of a cutting operation, and the support member is provided with: a support face positioned in the approximately same height as a top face of the tip of the food loading part and supporting the cut portion of the cut food; and an arc-like guide face positioned along and adjacent to a blade tip starting from a blade tip end of the support face and protecting the blade tip.
