The device comprises a fixed basic body (2) and a movably guided cap body (1). A pressure feed line (5) opens into the space (8) between these two bodies. The space (8) is sealed against the outside by a labyrinth (9, 10, 11). It is therefore possible for a pressure (p) to be converted into a small force (F) proportional thereto in a manner virtually free of hysteresis. The loss by leakage is small. <IMAGE>
