<p>A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate and a flat panel display having the same are provided to increase the size of an inspection pattern area installed on the TFT substrate to form inspection patterns, thereby forming lighting inspection patterns easily even when a driving circuit is miniaturized. A TFT(G_TFT2) has a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode formed on an insulating substrate(102) divided into a display area and a non-display area and provides an inspection driving signal provided from the outside to the display area. An inspection signal line(188) is connected to the drain electrode of the TFT. A pad portion signal line(104b) is insulated from the inspection signal line by an insulating film and is connected to a signal line formed in the display area. A jumping pad electrode(134b) connects the inspection signal line and the pad portion signal line electrically through a contact hole penetrating the insulating film, is connected to a driving circuit for driving the display area, and provides a driving signal provided form the driving circuit to the pad portion signal line.</p> |
