<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining metallic materials, which is executable regardless of the shape of a weld line or the size of a working space, and to provide a filler used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for joining metallic materials, along an intersection line L1 between a plane including an outer wall surface 10b of a side wall 10 of a side beam 1 and a plane including an outer wall surface 20a of a wall part 20 of a transverse beam 2, an annular filler 4, which is beforehand formed corresponding to the shape of the weld line L1, is arranged. Thereby, when joining the side beam 1 and the transverse beam 2, only a space for establishing a beam path to a filler 4 is required. The beam path is easily established by adjusting an optical system. Therefore, even when welding a narrow region or welding a weld line having a complicated shape of a closed curve or the like, the side beam 1 and the transverse beam 2 are adequately joined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
