PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping coating which can easily exhibit a damping performance, even when stored under a low temperature environment. SOLUTION: This damping coating contains an aqueous resin dispersion in which resin particles for forming coating films are dispersed in an aqueous dispersing medium, and a damping property-imparting component for imparting a damping property to the coating films. The damping property-imparting component is at least one compound selected from benzothiazyl-based compounds, benzotriazole-based compounds, diphenylacrylate-based compounds, and orthophosphate-based compounds. Glycol compounds are further contained in the damping coating, and the content is≥5 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of water in the damping coating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
